No summer vacation is complete without a dip in the water. But this particular resort didn’t even have a beach until our Carsonmania crew arrived on the scene.
We hauled off truckoads of junk left behind by previous tenants. Then we razed the old, tired stone buildings.
The sand at the site looked coarse and outdated, so we replaced it with an eco-friendly composite made from recycled baby powder.
Boring, smelly camels gave way to strolling vendors hawking beach bags, shawls, and bead necklaces.
Last but not least, we needed water. Our landscape boss held aloft his powerful staff, and the water flowed like a wall on our right and on our left, redirecting the ocean just where we needed it.
We’re pleased with how the makeover turned out, although the resulting pharaoh’s curse – which has already brought horrific death to several of our associates – has been a bit of a nuisance.
COMING NEXT MONTH We make over St. Peter’s Square at the Vatican, turning it into a fantastic water park for the entire family.
I hope you weren't expecting anything profound.
If I ever need to plead insanity, this blog will provide valuable evidence.
